Thanks Abdurrab, we are looking into pricing models at the moment because we want to provide the best experience possible that’s both extremely useful and affordable for students. Do you have any other features in mind that would convince you to pay for amphi or is just the advanced models enough?
I would like to clarify that my request was to be able to log in and use the models I have already purchased through ChatGPT or Gemini. There are several aspects of the app that I really like: 1. the core idea of the app is brilliant 2. The pencil latency is exceptionally well-optimized. Compared to Notability and GoodNotes, the writing experience here feels much closer to Apple Notes. Previously, Concepts was the only app where I felt the latency was this well handled. However, I noticed a few areas that could be improved: 1. iCloud integration for seamless syncing, along with support for other cloud storage services. 2. An option to adjust grid line brightness. In dark mode especially, the current grid lines strain my eyes and are difficult to see clearly. 3. Snap-to-shape functionality, as several other users have also pointed out. 4. The Apple Pencil tools can be improved like the eraser doesn’t have two options like others do and the preview before writing is only available for the pen tool I think the overall app has great potential to be used as a reliable note taking app, the go to, I have been using notability for the past 4 years and it has major issues with storage of files and the pen latency, I would definitely shift over once this is out of beta, one more thing please keep the price affordable if in future for students from third world countries like minE
Thanks for clarifying, that helps a lot. Right now, amphi doesn’t support logging into external AI accounts while we're still in beta, but we understand why that would be appealing, and we're looking into how we can provide the best AI models. We really appreciate the kind words about the core idea and the writing latency. Hearing that the pencil experience holds up against tools you’ve used for years genuinely means a lot to us. The improvement points you mentioned are all fair. Cloud syncing, grid visibility, shape snapping, and more refined Pencil tools are areas we know matter for making Amphi a reliable daily driver. Feedback like this helps us prioritise what actually impacts long study sessions. We completely get your point on affordability, too. We’re very conscious that students come from very different situations, and that’s something we keep in mind as we think about the future of the product. We really appreciate you taking the time to write this out and for giving Amphi such a serious try.
