We are working on this now. In your screenshot I think the reason wy the search bar disappears is because your widget is slightly too large. We are going to dynamically adjust the size of the widget to fill the available space above the keyboard when the keyboard is activated. If you have any thoughts on how you feel this should be implemented let us know because its being worked on right now.
